Privacy policy
How we handle the information you send us, and what we do not do with it.

This policy covers eliteguttersohio.com, which is operated by Elite Gutters LLC, an Ohio limited liability company based in Dayton, Ohio. It explains what we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and how long we keep it.
What we collect
The only information we ask you for is what you type into the quote form: your name, your phone number, your town, and optionally your email address and a description of the work you need. All of it is information you choose to give us.
We do not ask for payment details on this site, and we do not collect Social Security numbers, dates of birth or any other sensitive personal information.
Separately from the form, the site counts visits so we can see which pages are useful. That is described under Cookies and analytics below.
Why we collect it
We use your details for one purpose: to reply to you about the gutter work you asked about, to arrange a time to come and measure, and to send you the quote. That is the whole list.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to third party lead buyers. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote.
Who else sees it
Form submissions reach us by email through our website host and our email provider. Those companies process the message on our behalf in order to deliver it, and they are not permitted to use it for anything else. Beyond that, the only people who see your enquiry are the people at Elite Gutters who need it to do the work.
We may share information where the law requires it, for example in response to a valid legal request.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests for as long as we may reasonably need them: while we are quoting, while the work is going on, and afterwards for warranty and accounting purposes. If you ask us to delete your details and we are not required to keep them, we will.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits. It stores a cookie in your browser so that two visits from the same device are not counted as two different people, and it records which pages you looked at, which site or search sent you here, and the kind of device and browser you used. Google works out an approximate city from your IP address and does not store the address itself, so we never see it.
We have turned the advertising features off. This site does not set advertising cookies, does not build an advertising profile of you, and does not track you across other websites. Nothing we collect identifies you by name, and we do not sell it or pass it to anyone else.
If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes a browser add on that opts you out of Google Analytics everywhere, at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Your browser settings will also let you block or clear cookies.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will deal with it.
Children
This site is aimed at homeowners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
